The food is consistently spectacular—elevated, creative, and always perfectly executed. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared, and the flavors never disappoint. But what really sets Haviland apart is the people. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. You feel like family the moment you walk in. I’d go as far as to say this is one of the top restaurants on the South Shore of Long Island. If you haven’t been yet, make a reservation because it's small—you won’t regret it.

We had the absolute pleasure of celebrating Mother’s Day at this gem of a restaurant, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by Melinda , setting the tone for a truly special experience. The food was absolutely amazing — Chef Victor and his kitchen soldiers are always on point. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. From the fresh appetizers, mouth watering entrees, down to the decadent desserts, every bite felt carefully crafted and cooked with love. It was clear the kitchen went above and beyond to make the Mother’s Day menu unforgettable. The service was impeccable — attentive without being intrusive, and every team member was genuinely kind and accommodating. They made us feel like honored guests, and it was clear they were committed to making the day memorable. And let’s not forget the drinks! The cocktail menu was creative and well-balanced, with each drink thoughtfully prepared and perfectly paired with the meal. Whether you enjoy something bold or prefer a lighter sip, there was something for everyone. Overall, it was a flawless Mother’s Day experience. So our friend Mike said he wanted to go to this restaurant with us and Hank. Apparently Hank lives for this restaurant. I was extremely skeptical but agreed. Well I have to say my fears were all wrong. The employees were so pleasant and welcoming. I was really impressed with the way they went out of their way to ensure we were happy. The Calamari was out of this world. The food presentation was like we were at a food show case. Every dish ordered was presented like it was a contest . Each dish presentation was different and set apart. The proces were a little high the drinks are extreme expensive so avoid that. We paid 19 bucks from the drinks we had each. But the food and the experience is worth stopping here and eating you will not be disappointed

Can't say enough about food! Omg, the Hatfield Pork Chop absolutely DELICIOUS! The fried Baratta, lamb skewers were great apps, my friends loved their steaks and pressed chicken was a hit! Our waiter Tyler was just #1. Our drinks were delicious! And the Bartender was top notch, and very friendly! Definetly will be back! Oh and the Apple Cookie was Excellent!! Thanks!!

Came here for my brothers graduation dinner. What a great find! The food was all so delicious. We had the calamari, crab dip, and meatballs for appetizers. I had the pork for dinner, wow the seasoning and sauces was an amazing touch... it tasted really good. Not dry like other places. So tasty! Melinda the hostess was great, she accommodated us last minute. Staff was friendly. Definitely will come here again!

We heard about Haviland but never pulled the trigger to go. We went here at the last second, and it turned out to be a great move. The only complaint we had was that it was a little tight at first due to seating arrangement from the table next to us. Once the group had left, it was more comfortable. The waitress was amazing! She knew everything about the menu, and the recommendations were on point. Everything we ate was delicious. Highly recommended!!

What a great venue for a family filled 70th birthday celebration. We filled the space with about 35 people and had enough room for a kids' table, passed apps, and dancing or mingling about. Thank you to the owners, long-time family friends, for providing a perfect experience, venue, and atmosphere for our special day. We will definitely come back and highly recommend! We loved the Brisket Grilled Cheese and the Tuna TarTare!

Had my daughter’s baby shower at Haviland in September. It was nothing short of spectacular. Don and staff went above and beyond. Many commented it was the best shower. Thanks again.
